Pressman — Middlesex County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Middlesex County, Virginia. You will work in a busy laundry. The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 2+ years on the tools preferred.
