We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Ikwuano, Abia State. On a typical shift you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
