Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Crittenden County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Six days a week, one day off.
