Kitchen porter — Palm Beach County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Palm Beach County, Florida. The job is at a banquet hall. You should have: • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards You will sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
