Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Meade County, Kentucky. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed 3+ years on the tools preferred.
