Shrink wrap operator — South Tyneside

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shrink wrap operator in South Tyneside, England. You will be based in a food packaging factory. Your main tasks: • Stack and arrange goods onto pallets for dispatch • Separate rejects and re-pack faulty units • Strap and band pallets ready for loading • Feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams • Count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton • Check best-before and expiry dates on every box You should have: • Comfortable working at speed to meet line targets • Previous experience on a packing or production line • Able to follow health and safety procedures 6+ years on the tools preferred.
