Thermal insulation technician — Argyll and Bute

Now hiring: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. The role involves spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks. Ideal candidate: • Willing to travel between sites • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
