The role involves record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Full-time, day shift.
