Stitching operator wanted in Milwaukee County

Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
