Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Napa County, California. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day to day you will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
