Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. ₦270,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
