Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel On a typical shift you will wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding.
