Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Madison County, Ohio. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Day to day you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
