Bench joiner — Dorchester County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bench joiner in Dorchester County, South Carolina. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day to day you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
