Mason's helper — Lenawee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mason's helper in Lenawee County, Michigan. You will be based on a building construction site. The role involves: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
