Blocklayer • Conway County, Arkansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Conway County, Arkansas. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
