Immediate opening: concrete finisher (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in White County, Illinois. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. On the job you will handle: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Full-time with occasional weekends.
