VMC operator • Carroll County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Carroll County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
