Rough terrain crane operator — Wyoming County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Wyoming County, West Virginia. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Rotating shifts.
