Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Caddo County, Oklahoma. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
