Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Bronx County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics You will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; score the top of loaves before baking. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
