Rigging foreman wanted in Shropshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Shropshire, England. The job is on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
