Turning centre operator — Berkshire County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Your main tasks: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
