Die-casting operator • Dixie County, Florida

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Dixie County, Florida. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day to day you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
