Precision welder wanted in Foard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Foard County, Texas. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
