Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Caledonia County, Vermont. You will be based at a car service centre. The role involves: • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
