Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete worker in Jackson County, Oklahoma. The job is on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
