Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Orange County, Vermont. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Part-time with flexible hours.
