Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Dallas County, Iowa. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours.
