Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Marshall County, West Virginia. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
