Immediate opening: render and set plasterer (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Gove County, Kansas. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. Day-to-day duties: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
