Bar bender and fixer — Coventry

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Coventry, England. On the job you will handle: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
