Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Garum Mallam, Kano State. The job is in a busy laundry. Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; give each garment a final press before packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Pay around ₦80,000 per month, based on your experience.
