Escalator technician • Brooks County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an escalator technician in Brooks County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends.
