Backhoe loader operator • Ulster County, New York

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Ulster County, New York. You will be based at a landfill site. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Your main tasks: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Rotating shifts.
