Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Frio County, Texas. You will be based on a new-build housing development. You should have: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Day-to-day duties: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
