Formwork erector — Chicot County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork erector in Chicot County, Arkansas. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. Day-to-day duties: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
