QC inspector — Cameron County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a QC inspector in Cameron County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade The role involves record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items.
