Vertical transportation technician • Frederick County, Maryland

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Frederick County, Maryland. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Day to day you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience.
