Bakery assistant — Coffee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Coffee County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
