Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Mitchell County, Georgia. The job is on a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Performance bonus on top of base pay.
