Immediate opening: we are hiring a baker in Fulton County, Indiana. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. On the job you will handle: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 6+ years on the tools preferred.
