Production welder — Magumeri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Magumeri, Borno State. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off.
