Motor grader operator • Douglas County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Douglas County, Nebraska. You will be based in an open-cast mine. Day to day you will keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
