Pipe tig welder — Delaware County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Delaware County, Iowa. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
