Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Ripley County, Missouri. The job is on a new-build development. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
