Urgent requirement: we are hiring a nursery worker in Jasper County, Illinois. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers The role involves: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers Full-time, day shift. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
