Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. 1+ years on the tools preferred. ₦135,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
