Ceramic tiler wanted in Denali Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Denali Borough, Alaska. The job is on a residential construction site. You will cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls. You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
