Furnace operator — Greenlee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Greenlee County, Arizona. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
